Ratnavandar (“Storehouse of Jewels”) is a pioneering initiative by IAAS Bangladesh IUBAT to safeguard Bangladesh’s agricultural heritage. By collecting and preserving soil from all 30 Agro-Ecological Zones, conserving indigenous seeds, and documenting resilient weeds, it creates a dynamic educational resource for students and researchers. This living archive empowers future agriculturists to tackle biodiversity loss, soil health, and sustainable farming challenges, bridging traditional wisdom with modern science.
